Our Founder
The Magic Potion Cafe was founded by Tristan Frenette-Ling.
Tristan is a board game enthusiast and Co-founder of the miniature painting service Four Realms Of Chaos.
His entrepreneurial spirit has lead him on a quest to bring a magical gaming experience to everyone. His commission painting business has been around for over 10 years. His experience in the miniature painting hobby gives him a depth of knowledge he can share by offering paints, brushes, and board games with awesome looking miniatures! Use what the pros use! Play what the nerds play!
Tristan also has a passion for teaching and coaching. He currently coaches Elementary and High School Basketball. He taught miniature painting to kids as an after-school program, ran a kids summer camp for miniature painting and has even taught at gaming conventions. He can’t wait to bring up his kids with board games and all the joy they entail.
